Doctors
Dr. John McDermott joined GVS in 1988 and became a practice owner in 1991. He is a graduate of the University of Florida with a Master's Degree in Reproductive Physiology and Doctorate from the School of Veterinary Medicine. His expertise includes reproduction, developmental orthopedic diseases, dentistry, production management, quality milk and dairy farm profit enhancement.
Dr. Karalyn Lonngren joined GVS in 2021. She obtained her bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Rhode Island where she conducted research on small ruminant parasitology. She then received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania where she focused on dairy and equine medicine. Her interests include small ruminant medicine and all aspects of large animal preventative medicine.
